“Urban Visions in Excitement” by the painter Giusy Lauriola

Giusy Lauriola  is an Italian artist who lives and works in Rome, and she has held many exhibitions both in her country and abroad. The series of works that she presents, for the first time in Damascus, are the results of her last artistic research which has led her to experiment innovative and original digital techniques together to the traditional ones. In this exhibition, after a journey to Africa, the painter focuses, with a different point of view, on her town, Rome, which she interprets in a segmented dream-like vision like a flash, which summarizes journey memories, moments of the present and unpredictable souvenirs. Also this exhibition is meant to build up a bridge between two capitals: Damascus and Rome, between two  millenary  cultures. It is a good opportunity not only for speaking of arts and, in general, of the Italian culture but also a nice moment for offering an international documentation, above all of contemporary art, that our country offers with its jewels of the past.
