Presentation of the book: “ Syrian writings of the Ancient Times” by Prof. Gaia Servadio
This book, which is a homage to Syria, is an anthology meant to supply an Idea of the cultural richness, flourished in Syria.
The texts analyzed in this book are about: politics, religious and temporal power but also life in its everyday aspects, as to show that the human beings are subjected to the same passions, yesterday and nowadays. “……the Ancient History of the High Mesopotamia and the fertile Half-moon thus is told by those who have lived it….”
