Italian participation at the 5th Edition of the "Silk Road" Festival

5th Edition of the Silk Road Festival organized by the Ministry of Tourism. The festival has been opened by the inauguration of the Italian exhibition “Italian and Syrian Traditional Textiles. San Leucio Meets Damascus” exibiting the Italian antique tradition of Saint Leucio’s silk looming, together with traditional Damascene silk products. The exhibition has been presented in Beit Nizam, one of the most characteristic and fashinating Arab mansion in Damascus Old Town
