Saints Bankers Kings

An extraordinary archaeological exhibition, which reconstructs the golden age of the 6th century trough the basilicas, the marvellous finds, the mosaics and the protagonists of that period: Bishops and Saints, Bankers, Kings, who made the Mediterranean and the Byzantine history. One of the masterpieces in the exhibition the "Mosaico delle stagioni" is from Umgalai Maarah (Syria) (VI cen. a.C.) and kept in the National Museum of  Damascus
